As a kid, I really enjoyed the simplicity of the 8-bit games I used to play. The lack of space forced game designers to heavily stylize their creations, which in my opinion, has led to some of the greatest stylistic choices in art. This piece is my attempt at that, to tell the story of a broken warrior who moves through a frozen forest. I wanted to convey an air of great exhaustion from a weary adventurer.
